The Humane Society of Missouri is seeking a highly motivated individual with a passion for helping animals to work at our state-of-the-art facility in Maryland Heights as an Assistant Animal Health Technician in the Exam Room. This position provides all animals in the Adoption Center with proper care and attention including:

• administering medications/vaccines,
• restraining animals for medical procedures,
• cleaning and sanitizing cages, runs, floors and rooms, and
• providing basic daily necessities.

Must be able to work well in challenging emotional settings, and must have weekend availability. 

Requirements: high school diploma or equivalent, and at least one year of animal handling experience, with excellent internal customer service skills.
