The Humane Society of MO is looking to hire a Senior Accountant who will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer. This position is responsible for applying the principles of accounting to analyze financial information, prepare financial reports and process all aspects of HSMO accounting activities. In addition, this position supervises the AR/AP Accountant and the Supply Room Coordinator. Excellent customer service skills are required, as this individual regularly interacts with all departments and staff. Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a minimum of one year related experience. Computer proficiency is required, including spreadsheet, accounting and payroll systems. Work schedule may require occasional overtime, weekend, and evening event support. This full-time position is eligible for benefits, including Medical, Dental, Vision and Life/Disability, as well as Vacation, Sick and Holiday pay.
