Description
Our Adoption Volunteer Coordinator will serve as a liaison for volunteers in the Macklind and Westport Adoption Centers. We are looking for an individual who has animal handling experience, strong customer service, communication and team building skills, and is passionate about helping animals find their forever homes. Responsibilities include splitting time between two locations to train volunteers to walk adoptable dogs, interact with cats, assist clients who wish to adopt a pet, and support other volunteer activities. This full-time position will include weekend hours. Qualified candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of relevant experience or training.
