Description
Our Headquarters location is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician who is licensed in Missouri to work in our Adoption Center examination room. This position:
Previous experience in a shelter or veterinary clinic setting is required. Applicants must also possess organizational skills, internal customer service skills, have effective communication abilities and be computer literate.
Must have a current Missouri Vet Tech license. Must be able to work well in challenging emotional settings, and must have weekend availability.
Candidate also needs high school diploma or equivalent, and at least one year of animal handling experience.
- conducts routine exams and lab tests,
- administers medications and
- maintains animal health including treatment of sick and injured animals as directed by our veterinarians.
