The Humane Society of Missouri is seeking a highly motivated individual with a passion for helping animals to work at our new state-of-the-art Maryland Heights facility as an Assistant Animal Health Technician. This position provides all animals in the Adoption Center with proper care and attention including administering medications/vaccines, restraining animals for medical procedures, cleaning and sanitizing cages, runs, floors and rooms, and providing basic daily necessities. Must be able to work well in challenging emotional settings. Requirements: high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of animal handling experience, excellent internal customer service skills. This full-time position is eligible for benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability and vacation and sick time, and weekend hours.
