Description
Our Client and Animal Services Specialist interacts with the public both in-person and by phone to conduct animal intake/receiving, processing, and adoption of animals. This role primarily covers the front-desk of the shelter. If you love working with animals and communicating with people, this job could be a great fit for you.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Cleaning reception area,
- Completing and filing paperwork,
- Operating Adoption Center computer system, and
- Providing essential care to animals received.
The role has starting pay of $11.25/hour. We are currently looking to fill full-time, entry-level positions, which include weekend hours, at our Headquarters on Macklind Avenue in St. Louis.
Qualified candidates must have: a high school diploma or equivalent, strong customer service, communication and computer skills, and animal handling experience is preferred.
